PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control over gas pressure in a cryogen container and a flow of a gas from the cryogen container.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for controlling outflow of a gas from a cryogen container (12) housing a superconducting magnet (10). A controller (30) receives data representing gas pressure in the cryogen container, a control valve (40) controls outflow of a cryogen gas from the cryogen container (12), and data representing the state of the magnet can be used by the controller. The outflow of the cryogen gas from the cryogen container is controlled through the action of the control valve (40) controlled by the controller (30) according to the usable data representing the state of the magnet. |
