PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a shock from being generated when downshifting a shifting position under an acceleration-ON state during traveling of a vehicle on a climbing lane.SOLUTION: A release control module of a shift ECU includes a release control module for setting an oil pressure command value Psl(i)* to a linear solenoid valve SL(i) of generating oil pressure to a release side element, when switching the release side element, that is at least anyone of a clutch and a brake of an automatic transmission, from an engaged state to a released state, so as to be downshifted, and the release control module sets the oil pressure command value Psl(i)*, to moderate a grade of the oil pressure to the release side element along with a road face grade &thetas; getting large as a climbing grade, when making the oil pressure to the release side element low at the first to third grades for generating a rotational change of an input shaft of an input automatic transmission, in case of downshifting a shifting position under an acceleration-ON state (steps S300-S360). |
