PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to efficiency up and safety improvement of a clamp operation by easily and surely performing clamp and positioning to a mold and facilitating automation.SOLUTION: A clamp method includes: a first step Sa to switch all clampers to a clamp state after loading the mold between mold applied surfaces by making a movable platen in a mold open state and the clamper a clamp released state, and moving the movable platen to a mold clamping position; a second step Sb to perform position switching of a mobile mold by rotating the movable platen after making the movable platen to a mold open state; a third step Sc to switch a clamper in one side of the mobile mold and fixed mold that oppose to a clamp released state by moving the movable platen to a mold closed direction, and when reaching a prescribed release set position X set beforehand; and a fourth step Sd to switch the clamper made a clamp released state in the third step Sc to the clamp state after moving the movable platen to the mold clamping position.
