PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus which prevents invalid radiation exposure accompanying the swinging of an X-ray generating part when imaging.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray generating part irradiating a subject body with X-ray; an X-ray detector detecting the X-ray transmitted through the subject body; an X-ray image processing part subjecting an X-ray signal output from the X-ray detector to image processing; a display part displaying the X-ray image subjected to the image processing by the X-ray image processing part; and an X-ray generating part-moving mechanism part moving the X-ray generating part. The apparatus has an imaging permission determining part making permission determination of the X-ray imaging. The imaging permission determining part calculates a swinging-stop period of time that elapses until the swinging of the X-ray generating part is settled after the X-ray generating part is stopped, based on the moving rate of the X-ray generating part right before stopping, and makes permission determination based on the swinging-stop period of time. |
