摘要 <p>The gas reactor comprises a drying zone (6), carbonisation zone (7) and pyrolysis zone (8) for preparing biomass feedstock for gasification. The biomass feedstock for gasification enters the counter-current gasification zone (15) and a co-current gasification zone (17) after passing through drying zone (6), carbonisation zone (7) and Pyrolysis zone (8) of the gas reactor. The gas reactor is constructed to operate in a combined mode or in a selected mode of counter-current gasification and co-current gasification. A breaker shaft assembly (16) with shaft arrangements (30) and paddle breakers (31) are placed in between the counter-current gasification zone (15) and co-current gasification zone (17). Rotating grates (22) and screw conveyer assembly (12) are placed below the co-current gasification zone (17) to discharge the ash produced in the gas reactor. The thermochemical gas reactor works under diverse conditions with regards to feed, shape, size, moisture levels, bulk density and operated on all types of bio-mass to convert them to a tar free gas by removing ash and particulate in the proficient manner.</p>
