<p>A bed for campers, trailers and similar transport means has a portion permeable to light which, when the bed is raised against the roof of the vehicle or placed vertically against a wall of the veichle, comes to be situated opposite a roof win- dow or another window so as to allow the passage of light and the natural illu¬ mination of the living compartment. The bed comprises a support base and a mattress abutted against the base which can be obtained in different forms and in different materials. The light-impermeable mattress can be made of different materials (sponge, latex, springs, padded with natural fiber, wool, cotton, linen etc., or synthetic fiber, foam rubber), but it must have a removable portion. Or the mattress can be a water mattress and completely permeable to light. The support base can be of stave type, made of wood, aluminum, plastic material or another material, of mesh type, or it can have a continuous surface permeable to light or with a central or lateral hole, with different shapes and sizes.</p> |
