The clothes dryer is provided with: an outer case (11); a drying chamber having an outlet (193) and an inlet (194) that are provided inside the outer case (11); an air circulation pathway (30) provided outside the drying chamber and connecting the outlet (193) and the inlet (194); a fan (42), which is provided in the air circulation pathway (30) and draws in air inside the drying chamber into the air circulation pathway (30) from the outlet (193) and supplies air inside the air circulation pathway (30) into the drying chamber from the inlet (194); a fan casing (50), which configures a portion of the air circulation pathway (30) and inside which the fan (42) is provided; a heater (41), which is provided in the air circulation pathway (30) and heats the air inside the air circulation pathway (30); and an exhaust port (57), which is provided between the fan (42) and the heater (41) of the air circulation pathway (30) and discharges air in the air circulation pathway (30) out from the air circulation pathway (30).
