PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly aim at lengthening a travel distance capable of performing automatic stopping and restarting of an engine, in an engine control apparatus for performing the automatic stopping and the restarting of the engine.SOLUTION: An ECU 20 automatically stops an engine 10 by stopping combustion of the engine 10 when a predetermined automatic stopping condition is satisfied. The ECU 20 restarts the engine 10 by driving of a starter 15 when a predetermined restarting condition is satisfied after the automatic stopping condition is satisfied. The ECU 20 further calculates a starting accumulated value by accumulating a starting performing value for every starting of the starter 15, and changes the automatic stopping condition in the direction for making automatic stopping hard to be performed when the starting accumulated value becomes a predetermined value. |
