PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device, a coordinate input system, and a coordinate input method for suppressing deterioration of detection accuracy in an area where position detection becomes difficult when a contact position of a detected object is detected by using a triangulation method.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device 3A includes: at least three imaging units 20, 30, 50, 60 which receive propagation light which propagates inside a tabular light guide plate 10; and a detection part 4 which calculates coordinates of a contact position P of the detected object by using a triangulation method on the basis of output of the imaging units 20, 30, 50, 60 which detect the propagation light based on contact when the detected object is brought into contact with the light guide plate 10. The coordinate input device 3A is provided with a selection part 7 which selects whether or not the coordinates of the contact position P are calculated by output of what two imaging units 20, 30, 50, 60 on the basis of the output from the imaging units 20, 30, 50, 60 based on the contact position P of the detected object. |
