PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a machine tool and the machine tool equipped with the same capable of estimating beforehand a processing load with high accuracy irrespectively of a variation in the thickness and hardness of a workpiece and capable of making compatible both the improvement of processing efficiency and the maintenance of processing accuracy.SOLUTION: A machine tool 100 includes: cutting blades 101 cutting a workpiece; a holder 102 holding and fixing the cutting blades 101; a main spindle motor 103 rotating the cutting blades 101; a drive stage 104 moving the main spindle motor 103; an inverter 105 supplying electric power to the main spindle motor 103; a processing machine NC 106 instructing a feed speed to the drive stage 104; a cutting resistance measuring instrument 107 measuring a processing load (cutting resistance value) subjected to the cutting blade; a control device 200 instructing an appropriate feed speed to the processing machine 106; and a workpiece mounting table 109 mounting the workpiece 110.
