The method involves turning a textile web at a long side of a template by forming a fold in a textile web portion. Another template is fitted on the textile web. The textile web is turned at a long side of the latter template. A stacked roller blind fold is pierced by a channel with a pull cord. The pull cord is fastened at a fold in a region of an end of a folding stack. The pull cord is mounted in a region of another end of the folding stack. The templates are removed from the folds of the textile web before or after fastening and mounting of the pull cord. An independent claim is also included for a device for execution of a method for manufacturing a folding roller blind.
