SERVICE CONTINUITY IN HANDOVER SITUATIONS IN CELLULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

The invention relates to methods and nodes in a cellular communication system for supporting continuity of service in handover situations. A method in a cellular communication system comprising a source base station, a target base station and a user equipment moving from the source base station to the target base station is provided. The method comprising the steps: the target base station receiving, from the source base station, an indication that the user equipment is interested in receiving a service; the target base station checking the received indication and, the target base station indicating whether the target base station requests the user equipment to send the indication that the user equipment is interested in receiving a service to the target base station.
