SAFETY DEVICES FOR MACHINE TOOLS EQUIPPED WITH ROTARY TABLE

PURPOSE: A rotary table for machine tools having a safety device is provided to prevent damage caused by the impact added to a pad supplying oil in case of emergency which the table falls to the inner surface of a bed by installing support rollers to the inner and outer sides of the inner surface of the bed in a circular array. CONSTITUTION: A rotary table for machine tools having a safety device comprises a bed (110), a rotary shaft (120), a table (130), a hydraulic supply unit, a support roller unit (140), and a lateral support roller (150). The bed is fixed on the ground and an accommodating space is equipped to store oil inside as an upper part is opened. The rotary shaft is connected to a central part of the bed for the axial rotation. The table covers the upper part of the bed by inserting the rotary shaft in a shaft groove of the central part. The hydraulic supply unit raises the table as the oil is supplied through a pad arrayed in a predetermined gap on the inner surface of the accommodating space of the bed. The support roller is formed to the inner surface of the bed in a predetermined circular array to prevent damage of the pad caused by the falling table. The lateral support roller is mounted on the upper circumference of the rotary shaft in a predetermined gap.
