PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking system capable of setting an output port on a desired peripheral device even when the IP address of the peripheral device is not known at the installing time.SOLUTION: In an interlocking system in which a peripheral device and host equipment are connected via a network, the peripheral device includes: a notification operating portion for transmitting interlocking object notification information indicating that the peripheral device is a peripheral device operating by interlocking with the host equipment; and a transmitting portion for transmitting the interlocking object notification information to the network. The host equipment includes: a monitoring portion for monitoring and waiting for the transmission of the interlocking object notification information on the network; an acquiring portion for acquiring the interlocking object notification information upon detection of the interlocking object notification information by the monitoring portion; and an installer for setting an output port for outputting information to the peripheral device which transmits the interlocking object notification information on the basis of the information specifying the peripheral device which transmits the interlocking object notification information contained in the acquired interlocking object notification information. |
