PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix magnets in a rotary electric machine comprising a rotor in which a plurality of magnetic poles are formed while disposing permanent magnets in a V shape.SOLUTION: In a rotor (30), a magnetic barrier (36) continuous or adjacent to a slot (32) is provided between two magnets (34a, 34b) forming the same pole. The magnetic barrier (36) is formed to form an angle (&thetas;) of 90° or less with a magnetic pole surface of the paired magnet (34a) when a line (L) connecting an end portion (A) at a side far from the corresponding magnet (34a) and an inner circumferential side end portion (B) in the paired magnet (34b) of the same pole as the corresponding magnet (34a) is positioned at an outer-most circumferential side. |
