PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extensible electrical insulation protector of which fitting work to an overhead distribution line can be performed by one person and of which length can be adjusted according to the length of an electric wire to be fitted, and to enable excess length processing to be easily performed for an excess length portion not contributing to the electrical insulation protection of the overhead distribution line.SOLUTION: An extensible electrical insulation protector 1 is constituted of a pair of insulating sheet members 2, 3 extending in the same direction and facing each other and a pair of clips 4, 5. A first clip attachment part 10 for fixing paired holding parts of one clip 4 is provided at one end of each of the pair of sheet members 2, 3, while a second clip attachment part 20 for fixing paired holding parts of the other clip 5 is provided at the other end of each of the pair of sheet members 2, 3. The sheet members 2, 3 are constituted by connecting folded pieces 2a, 3a overlapping in multiple layers, respectively, and a magnet 6 for adsorbing the adjacent folded pieces to each other is provided on each of the folded pieces 2a, 3a. |
