PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a working mode of a high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) system.SOLUTION: According to a method, a base station, when an active state of a high speed shared control channel (HS-SCCH) less operation mode needs to be changed, transmits a physical layer signaling for activating or deactivating the HS-SCCH less operation mode to user equipment (UE) and instructs the UE to activate or deactivate the HS-SCCH less operation mode, and the UE activates or deactivates the HS-SCCH less operation mode in accordance with the physical layer signaling for activating or deactivating the HS-SCCH less operation mode from the base station. The base station, the UE and an HSDPA system are disclosed in embodiments of the present invention. By using the present invention, a working mode of the HSDPA system can be controlled promptly, thereby saving UE processing resources and system radio resources. |
