摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate influence of tolerances of a socket and a spigot, and facilitate connection of a pipe joint using a lock ring.SOLUTION: In a pipe joint structure, a lock ring groove 12 is formed in an inner surface of a socket 2, a lock ring 10 is housed in the lock ring groove 12, and a retaining protrusion 11 protruding toward an outer diameter is provided at a tip of a spigot 1. The retaining protrusion 11 is brought into contact with the lock ring 10 to retain the spigot. The lock ring 10 includes a single-split ring portion 10a having an opening formed at one point in a circumferential direction thereof, and protrusions 10b raised in an outer diameter direction. The socket 2 and the ring portion 10a are centered by bringing the protrusions 10b into direct contact with a bottom surface of the lock ring groove 12. The lock ring groove 12 includes a tapered inner surface portion 12e gradually increasing in diameter from an opening side in a pipe axial direction of the socket 2 toward a deep side in the pipe axial direction. The protrusions 10b face the tapered inner surface portion 12e.
