PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for image formation capable of simultaneously satisfying low energy fixability and room temperature shelf stability, while maintaining excellent toner quality such as formation of a high quality image, allowing uniform dispersion of a pigment in the toner, and enabling excellent image for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A toner includes at least a coloring agent, a binder resin and a release agent. The binder resin has at least two kinds of amorphous resins A, B and a crystalline resin. The amorphous resin A is a resin with a glass-transition temperature of -60°C or higher, and lower than 0°C, having a branched structure, and including an urethane or urea bond. The amorphous resin B has a glass-transition temperature of 40°C or higher, and lower than 70°C, and includes a unit obtained from sulfo substitution benzene dicarboxylic acid metal salt and one of esters thereof. A content of the unit in the toner is 0.05 through 4 wt%. |
