PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which completes rewriting of a program even when AC power is turned off.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: CPUs 11, 21 and 31 which is arranged on control boards 10, 20 and 30 and stores rewritable programs; a low voltage power supply 50 which supplies power to the control boards 10, 20 and 30; at least one of power generating members 5 and 6 which are connected to power source lines 45 and 46 of the control boards 10, 20 and 30; and control means (CPU 11) which allows the power required for rewriting the programs of CPUs 11, 21 and 31 to be secured with the power generating members 5 and 6, in the case that the power supply from the low voltage power supply 50 is cut off during rewriting of the program of the CPUs 11, 21 and 31. |
