PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of improving quality of saddle stitch processing.SOLUTION: In a sheet processing device, when saddle stitch processing is performed, the number of punched holes is determined on the basis of the main-scanning-direction paper width of paper and the number of pieces of paper of a paper bundle (S203-S207), and punching is applied to paper except first paper and final paper of the paper bundle (S201: NO, S211: NO) by shifting a position between the adjacent pieces of paper to a position except a staple position on a middle folding line (S213-S217). Stapling is applied to the paper bundle after that (S223). |
