{Abstract} An image system (1) for surgery includes: a three-dimensional imaging unit (5) acquiring two images having parallax by capturing an image of a portion (B); a display unit (7) displaying two images acquired by the three-dimensional imaging unit (5) individually for both left and right eyes, or displaying a same image for both left and right eyes; a detection unit (9) detecting that a treatment device (3) that performs treatment on the portion (B) or the three-dimensional imaging unit (5) is in an operating state in which to initiate treatment on the portion (B); and a display control unit (10) switching from displaying one of images on the display unit (7) to displaying two images on the display unit (7) when the detection unit (9) detects the three-dimensional imaging unit (5) or the treatment device (3) is in the operating state in which to initiate treatment on the portion (B).
