PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crisp organic electroluminescent element with no color mixing in which light leakage between adjoining wavelength conversion layers is prevented and excellent color reproducibility is ensured, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor, and a liquid crystal device.SOLUTION: A light control layer 17 is disposed between a second electrode (light transmitting electrode) and a wavelength conversion layer 15, and includes a first layer 31 composed of a first material, and a plurality of second layers 32, 32, ... composed of a first material and including lattices 33 of a plurality of metal thin films, or the like, composed of a second material, sequentially from the second electrode (light transmitting electrode) side. Four second layers 32 are laminated on the first layer 31, for example, and four lattices 33 are formed in superposition. |
