PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a saccharide from lignocellulose-containing biomass.SOLUTION: Addition of 10-70 mass% sodium sulfite and 0.1-20 mass% alkali as a pH adjuster to a lignocelllose raw material (dry weight) is carried out, and a raw material suspension with the sodium sulfite and the pH adjuster added thereto is heat-treated. The obtained raw material suspension is subjected to saccharification treatment. The raw material suspension after heat treatment is ground by a refiner. An enzyme is used in saccharification treatment. |
