PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially advantageously producing a powdery polysaccharide derivative stable in quality with high efficiency and high productivity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a powdery polysaccharide derivative includes the following steps (1) and (2). Step (1): obtaining the powdery polysaccharide derivative by reacting polysaccharides with a compound having a reactive functional group in the presence of a basic catalyst. Step (2): obtaining a neutralized product by mixing or milling the powdery polysaccharide derivative obtained by Step (1) and an organic acid using a media mill under the condition of 25 mass% or lower water content. |
