PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle body structure capable of properly retaining a cover portion in an open state while simplifying a cover structure.SOLUTION: A railroad vehicle body structure 1 includes a side body structure 3, an end body structure 5, and a roof body structure 4, and has a cover structure 12 for opening and closing an opening A of an interior panel 10 that is arranged along the roof body structure 4 side of the side body structure 3, wherein the cover structure 12 includes a hinge 13 fixed to the roof body structure 4, a cover portion 14 disposed openably and closably with the hinge 13 as a fulcrum, and a linear cover portion suspension member 15 the one end of which is attached to the cover portion 14 and the another end of which is provided with a hook 15a, and the hook 15a is hooked onto the roof body structure 4 or a member fixed to the roof body structure 4 and, thereby, the cover portion suspension member 15 can suspend the cover portion 14 in an open state. |
