PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump and a mechanism for suppressing the interference of a pump leakage flow that reduce the interference between fluid flowing back beyond a seal part of a flow path formed between the outer periphery of a front shroud of an impeller and a casing and a main flow sucked into the impeller via an inducer.SOLUTION: A pump includes a main shaft 1 rotating in a casing 2; an impeller 10 rotating in conjunction with the main shaft 1; an inducer 6 for supplying fluid to the impeller 10; a seal part of a first flow path 12 formed between the outer periphery of a front shroud 11 of the impeller 10 and the casing 2 and serving as a fluid refluxing flow path; and a cavity 13 formed by recessing a part of the casing 2 on the downstream side of the seal part and on the extension line of the first flow path 12.
