PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coating waste fall prevention tool capable of surely preventing wire coating waste from falling onto a road when cutting exfoliated wire coating in the root part thereof by means of an insulation plyer or the like.SOLUTION: A wire coating waste fall prevention tool 300 comprises a peeling frame unit 200A, a frame driving tool 100 for the unit, and a coating waste winding rod 38. On a holding surface of the peeling frame unit 200A for insulation coating Wa of an electric wire W, a spiral screw 32 is formed which gives a thrust for moving the whole frame driving tool 100 in a direction of an electric wire axis C. In a termination portion of the spiral screw 32, a coating exfoliating blade 34 is fixed orthogonally to the electric wire axis C while confronting a blade tip 34a to the insulation coating Wa of the electric wire. The winding rod 38 is a rod-shaped member fixed in the vicinity of the termination part of the spiral screw 32 and extends for a fixed length in parallel with a centerline C of a spiral groove and a termination part 38c thereof is tapered. |
