PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-permeable gypsum porous structure that can adsorb and recover heavy metals in an aqueous solution mixed in with arsenic or the like without adjusting the pH.SOLUTION: A gypsum porous structure is obtained by mixing gypsum, a foaming agent and water, and has the following characteristics. The gypsum contains at least hemihydrate gypsum. The gypsum contains anhydrous gypsum obtained in such a manner that a refractory is added to anhydrous gypsum, the anhydrous gypsum is mixed and stirred, and subjected to rolling compaction. The refractory contains at least either one of crystalline cellulose and cellulose acetate. |
