The method includes applying a beneficial substance to the live food creature such that when consumed, the beneficial substance is consumed along with the live food creature. The step of applying a beneficial substance includes injecting the beneficial substance into the live food creature. The method may include the step of feeding the live food creature to the animal to be treated.
