A method and apparatus for measuring a serving cell in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method for performing measurement by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes: receiving a list of aggressor cells and neighbor-cell reference signal (RS) information from a serving cell; and performing measurement of the serving cell, wherein information as to whether CRE (Cell Range Extension) - related capability is used during the measurement is determined according to at least one of the presence or absence of CRE-related capability of the UE and information regarding configuration or non-configuration of restricted measurement.
