PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper wire softening device which can stably soften a copper wire over a wide range from a low speed region to a high speed region.SOLUTION: A copper wire 2 is traversed on first to third electrode sheaves 31 to 33, and the copper wire 2 is moved while contacting with them. A power source unit 2 supplies ac voltage between the first electrode sheave 31 and the second electrode sheave 32 and between the second electrode sheave 32 and the third electrode sheave 33, and the copper wire 2 moving in contact with them is energized and softened. The power source unit 2 includes an inverter, the inverter having: a converter part which converts ac voltage into dc voltage; and an inverter part which converts, into ac voltage, the dc voltage which the converter part converted. |
