PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven rotary shovel which is convenient even for an operator familiar with a hydraulic oil pressure rotary shovel.SOLUTION: An inventive hybrid shovel as an electrically-driven rotary shovel comprises: a main pump 14 which drives a boom cylinder 7; a turning motor 21 which turns and drives a turning mechanism 2; and a controller 30 which controls the flow rate of a hydraulic fluid to a boom cylinder 7 on the basis of the state of the turning motor 21. The controller 30 decreases the discharge rate of the main pump 14 as the turning speed of the turning motor 21 is higher. |
