PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of effectively cooling a pressure roller by utilizing a limited space in the interior so as to obtain an effective structure for space saving.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a sheet conveyance passage S for conveying a sheet; a secondary transfer unit 26 and a fixing part 17 disposed along the sheet conveyance passage S; an opening/closing cover 41 for allowing the sheet conveyance passage S to be exposed when opened; a pressure roller 51 provided on the fixing part 17 for applying pressure from the opening/closing cover 41 side to the sheet on the sheet conveyance passage S; and a cooling fan for cooling the pressure roller 51. The secondary transfer unit 26 and the cooling fan 61 are attached on the opening/closing cover 41. The secondary transfer unit 26 and the cooling fan 61 are disposed at a position where movement loci thereof overlap at the time of opening and closing operations of the opening/closing cover 41. |
