摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface frictional coefficient measuring apparatus capable of continuously measuring frictional coefficients of a road surface independently of a moving direction of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A frictional coefficient measuring apparatus 1 for measuring frictional coefficients of a traveling road surface of a vehicle includes: an intermediate plate 2 arranged under a floor of a vehicle body; a test piece 7 abutting on a road surface to generate frictional force between the road surface and the test piece 7; a first spring (fist depression member) 6 attached to the intermediate plate 2 to generate normal reaction by depressing the test piece 7 to the road surface; and a load cell 5 for measuring the magnitude of the normal reaction applied to the test piece 7 and an acting direction and magnitude of frictional force. The intermediate plate 2 is coupled with the vehicle body by a guide member 4 for limiting movement of the intermediate plate 2 in a vertical direction of the vehicle body, a second spring (second depression member) 3 for depressing the intermediate plate 2 in a road surface direction is arranged between the intermediate plate 2 and the vehicle body, and depression force of the second spring 3 is set smaller than depression force of the first spring 6.
