PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of preventing acoustic characteristics being easily affected in transmission/receiving of ultrasonic waves, and capable of securing the accuracy in detection of temperature change of the ultrasonic probe; and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe includes an piezoelectric transducer group in which a plurality of piezoelectric transducers are arranged. The piezoelectric transducer group includes a first element group and a second element group other than the first element group. The first element group is composed of piezoelectric transducers located on an end side of arrangement of the piezoelectric transducers. Part of the piezoelectric transducers belonging to the second element group are used as pyroelectric elements for temperature detection.
