摘要 Provided are: a method for producing a high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet that comprises a Si- and Mn-containing steel sheet as a base material and that has excellent galvanized coat appearance, corrosion resistance, resistance to galvanized coat peeling when subjected to a high degree of working, and workability; and said high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. At the time of applying annealing and a hot-dip galvanizing treatment to a steel sheet that comprises, in terms of mass%, 0.03-0.35% of C, 0.01-0.50% of Si, 3.6-8.0% of Mn, 0.001-1.000% of Al, 0.10% or less of P, and 0.010% or less of S and that includes Fe and inevitable impurities as the remainder, the maximum temperature reached by the steel sheet within the annealing furnace is from 600°C to 700°C inclusive, the amount of time it takes for the steel sheet to pass a temperature range in which the steel sheet temperature is from 600°C to 700°C inclusive is from 30 seconds to 10 minutes inclusive, and the dew point in the atmosphere is -45°C or lower.
