<p>[Problem] To provide an optical receptacle, whereby optical transmission with a monitor is correctly performed, configuration can be simplified, and mechanical strength and the degree of freedom in design can be improved, and to provide an optical module that is provided with the optical receptacle. [Solution] The first surface (2a) of an optical receptacle main body, said first surface being on the photoelectric conversion apparatus (3)-side, is provided with: a first lens surface (11), which is disposed to have a part of light emitted from a light emitting element (7) inputted thereto; a first reflection surface (14), which is disposed on a second surface (2b) on the reverse side of the first surface (2a), and which reflects the light inputted from the first lens surface (11); and a second reflection surface (16), which is provided on the first surface (2a) such that the second reflection surface is continuous from the first lens surface (11), and another part of the light emitted from the light emitting element (7) is inputted thereto, and which reflects, as monitor light, the another part of the light inputted thereto toward a light receiving element (8).</p> |
