<p>The present invention provides a method for producing an adamantyl (meth)acrylate, wherein a carboxylic acid ester compound is added into a reaction mixture that is obtained by the reaction of 1-adamantane carboxylic acid ester or 2-adamantanone with an organic metal compound, and then the resulting mixture is reacted with a (meth)acrylic acid anhydride. An adamantyl (meth)acrylate, which is suitable as a monomer for photoresist resins, is efficiently produced by this method.</p> |
