PURPOSE: A locking bracelet and a control method thereof are provided to prevent criminals from unlocking the bracelet as an optical sensor with a monitoring device is installed. CONSTITUTION: An electric locking bracelet using an optical sensor (21) comprises a CPU (22), and a flash memory (23). The optical sensor receives optical signals from a sender which remotely controls a locking device. The CPU controls the locking device by checking whether or not combinations are the combinations of an administrator. The flash memory saves the combinations by the CPU. The flash memory comprises the DC motor or solenoid (24) which unlocks the locking device of the electric bracelet.
