PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for vehicle, capable of early terminating uphill control in performing driving gear shifting during running on an uphill road while preventing execution and termination of the uphill control from being repeated during running around a criterion for uphill control.SOLUTION: Uphill control is executed when an uphill slope in a traveling direction is an uphill slope threshold value or more (regions A1, A2). While uphill control is being executed, uphill control is terminated when a condition where the uphill slope in the traveling direction is less than the uphill slope threshold value with the traveling direction of the driving gear being kept is continued for a first preset time Tth1 (P1, P4). Further, when a second preset time Tth2 in which an elapsed time time2 after the traveling direction of the driving gear is switched to the reverse direction is shorter than the first preset time Tth1 is over while uphill control is being executed, uphill control is terminated (P2, P3, P5, P6). |
