PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a conventional vehicle fixing device for a chassis dynamometer, its attachment to/removal from a pit floor surface is troublesome.SOLUTION: A vehicle fixing device 11 is provided with: a chain 6 whose one end is provided with a hook 5 engaged with a test vehicle 2; a prop 12 which is attached on a pit floor surface 7 and draws the chain 6 on the pit floor surface 7; a rising/lowering drive mechanism 14 for rising/lowering the prop 12; and a chain winding mechanism 16 for winding up the chain 6. The prop 12 comprises a fixing part 21 attached on a lower surface of the pit floor surface 7 and a rising/lowering part 22 which rises/lowers in the fixing part 21. The rising/lowering part 22 protrudes onto the pit floor surface 7 from a prop appearance hole 13 provided on the pit floor surface 7 by rising, and is stored in a pit 15 by lowering. |
