PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint circulation device and a paint circulation method which can achieve stable paint with consideration for the change in paint pressure caused by paint viscosity change, and can prevent aggregates and precipitates from flowing out due to the flow rate change upon paint and adhering to a paintwork.SOLUTION: A paint circulation device, which has paint guns for jetting a paint in operation, a supply route for supplying the paint from a paint storage unit to the paint guns by a paint supplying pump, and a return route that circulates the paint from the supply route to the paint storage unit, bypassing the paint guns, when the paint guns are not in operation, includes: a circulation pressure storage means that stores circulation pressure for the paint when the paint guns are not in operation; and a control means that controls the circulation flow rate of the paint to be a predetermined flow rate in a constant volume mode when the paint guns are not in operation and supplies the paint to the paint guns at a pressure which is set based on the circulation pressure of the paint stored by the circulation pressure storage means, in a constant pressure mode when the paint guns are in operation. |
