摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic strengthening structure of an existing building, which enables earthquake-resistant strength to be sufficiently secured even in the existing building having stories with higher floor height.SOLUTION: A reinforcing rigid frame 2 having a plurality of reinforcing columns 3 and 6 and reinforcing beams 4, 5 and 7 for connecting the reinforcing columns 3 and 6 together is connected to an existing building 1 in such a manner that the reinforcing columns 3 and 6 and the reinforcing beams 4, 5 and 7 overlap columns and beams, which configure one plane of structure of the existing building 1, in a view from before the plane of structure. An intermediate reinforcing beam 10 is erected in an approximately central section of floor height between the reinforcing columns 3 and 3 of the reinforcing rigid frame 2. Thus, earthquake-resistant strength can be sufficiently secured even in the existing building 1 having stories with higher floor height.
