PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive unit capable of controlling optionally an amount of a liquid fluid supplied to a part to be supplied with the liquid fluid in at least one of an electric motor and a power transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: This vehicular drive unit includes a motor-driven oil pump 70 for supplying oil to a lubrication-cooling part 91 supplied with the liquid fluid in at least one side of electric motors 2A, 2B for generating a driving force for a vehicle, and the first and second planetary gear type reduction gears, and a lubrication-cooling flow channel 100. The lubrication-cooling flow channel 100 includes the first lubrication-cooling flow channel 100a and the second lubrication-cooling flow channel 100b arranged in parallel each other, and a catch tank CA for storing the oil is provided in the second lubrication-cooling flow channel 100b. An oil releasing switching valve OR for conducting switching between a blocked state and a communicated state for the downstream second lubrication-cooling flow channel 100bd, by switching blocking and communication, is arranged in the downstream second lubrication-cooling flow channel 100bd of a side sided to the lubrication-cooling part 91 more than the catch tank CA. |
