PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device, which can appropriately switch reception processing, and a signal processing method for the same.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device 10 includes a one-segment tuner I/F12 which is connected to a one-segment tuner 51, a tuner I/F15 which is connected to a terrestrial digital tuner 52, a decoder 13 which selectively decodes a first broadcast signal which is input from the one-segment tuner I/F12 or a second broadcast signal which is input from the tuner I/F15, a general-purpose processor 11 which is separately provided from the decoder 13 and decodes the first broadcast signal, and a switching part 16 which switches between the decode of the first broadcast signal and the decode of the second broadcast signal by the decoder 13 based on the signal strength of a second broadcast wave when the general-purpose processor 11 decodes the first broadcast signal, on a single chip. |
