PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical touch panel device and an optical touch panel with high position detection capability of indication tools and successful responsiveness.SOLUTION: An optical touch panel 1 optically detects positions of a plurality of pen type indication tools (indication tools) 2 for indicating any position on a display surface (plane part) 10. The optical touch panel 1 transmits a request signal for requesting notification of states of the respective pen type indication tools 2. The pen type indication tools 2 transmit, when any position on the display surface 10 is indicated, a notification signal notifying this state in individual timing for every pen type indication tool 2. The optical touch panel 1 receives the notification signals in timing different for every pen type indication tool 2, and easily distinguishes a pen type indication tool 2 which indicates any position on the display surface 10. |
