PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method which are capable of suppressing increase of a calculation quantity and enhancing calculation accuracy of an optimum solution.SOLUTION: A HEMS200 includes a calculation unit 230 that utilizes, each as an element, an operation of a PV unit 130, a storage battery unit 140, a fuel cell unit 150, or a hot water storage unit 160, and calculates, every unit time, an optimum solution including at least one of a purchase charge of electric power supplied from a system and a sales charge of electric power provided to the system. The calculation unit 230 abbreviates a search for a combination of the elements on the basis of a constrain condition of each unit. |
