PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head having no infiltration of ink, even from a portion of connecting a substrate with an ink distribution member, and to provide a method of manufacturing the inkjet head.SOLUTION: An inkjet head includes: a substrate; a piezoelectric element installed on the substrate and having a pressure chamber formed by a comb-shaped sidewall; an electrode for applying a voltage to drive the piezoelectric element; a frame arranged to enclose the piezoelectric element; a nozzle plate having an ink ejection hole arranged at a position corresponding to the pressure chamber and covering the piezoelectric element and the frame; the ink distribution member arranged on a surface opposite to the surface with the piezoelectric element of the substrate; and an insulating film for covering at least the substrate, the piezoelectric element, the frame, the electrode, and the ink distribution member, excluding a driving element connection part that is a portion connected with a driving element for driving the piezoelectric element. |
