PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, a method for transmitting a flash report to the portable terminal, and a program for transmitting the flash report to the portable terminal, the portable terminal capable of transmitting the flash report in accordance with a notification image without reducing the display area of the image derived from a broadcasting signal and giving information pertaining to the flash report.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 includes: a first liquid crystal display device 12 for displaying a television image on the basis of a broadcasting signal; and a second liquid crystal display device 16 for displaying the image. When receiving a signal indicating a flash report, the portable terminal changes the display of the telop image of the flash report from the first liquid crystal display device 12 to the second liquid crystal display device 16 so that the information pertaining to the flash report is displayed on the second liquid crystal display device. |
